Eligibility Criteria

Candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, including those who have cleared the 10+2 examination from a Board recognised or established by the Central/State Government through legislation and a member of the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, should have studied a range of subjects. These include physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, information technology, biology, informatics practices, biotechnology, technical vocational subjects, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, and entrepreneurship. They must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

OR

Suppose you have completed a minimum 3-year diploma course from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any other recognised State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category). In that case, you may be eligible for admission in the First Year if the vacancies at lateral entry are total.

The institute will offer special courses to help students from different backgrounds prepare for their studies. These courses will cover mathematics, physics, engineering drawing, and more. The aim is to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to learn and achieve the programme's desired outcomes.

Students who have completed a two-year certificate programme at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) are eligible.
