Class counselling at CCE Jhanjeri is designed to emphasise the fundamental roles of faculty members as companions, guides, and advisers in the lives of students. It is committed to offering both academic and personal assistance to students throughout their academic journey. Each faculty member serves as a Class Counsellor for a specific group of 30 students, fostering an environment conducive to students freely expressing their personal challenges, thoughts, and convictions.
The dedicated class counsellors collaborate closely with students to tackle academic hurdles, establish objectives, and formulate strategies for achieving success. They nurture a supportive setting where students can openly address personal issues, cope with stress, and access mental health resources for overall well-being. This structure enables a thorough exploration of students' emotional landscapes, academic pursuits, faculty interactions, social dynamics, and broader life encounters, guaranteeing holistic support for their development and welfare.
This involves one-on-one sessions between a student and a counsellor to address personal issues, academic challenges, emotional difficulties, or any other concerns the student may have.
CCE Jhanjeri offers group counselling sessions where students with similar concerns can come together to share experiences, support one another, and learn coping strategies under the guidance of a counsellor.
Career counselling services assist students in exploring career options, developing job search skills (such as resume writing and interview preparation), and making informed decisions about their career paths.
Academic counsellors help students with course selection, time management, study skills, and academic goal setting to ensure academic success.
College counsellors are often trained to provide immediate support and intervention in crises such as mental health emergencies, suicidal ideation, or trauma.
CCE Jhanjeri offers workshops, seminars, and educational programs on mental health, stress management, relationships, and other relevant issues.
